The article deals with phraseology and phraseological units, which are exclusive and particular for every language. Phraseology is a notion of high importance in language investigation as it reflects special features of the language, culture, history, mentality and peculiarities of language speakers. Phraseology is the linguistic subdiscipline of lexicology that studies and classifies set expressions (phraseological units in the broadest sense).
