In the context of the global environmental crisis caused in the result of excessive technological activities of people there is the absolute necessity of seeking the ways of solving the problem, in particular by means of education ecologisation. In the developed countries environmental problems rank one of the first places among the issues which need to be solved immediately. One of the most important prerequisites of solving the environmental problems on the way to observing the principles of sustainable development is environmental education aimed at development of environmental consciousness and worldview. In fact, exactly its features determine the strategy of human activity and conduct in the environment. The higher the level of environmental worldview, the more organized is the activity towards environment. Worldview characteristics development belongs to the education field and requires some changes in the nature and guidelines of environmental education, and higher education in particular.
