Due to the influence of the relief of the southeastern part of the Lesser Caucasus, its climate, soil cover and other factors, it has led to the formation of unique vegetation and the change of biodiversity. In general, although the military conflicts that took place in this area had negative effects on the formation of vegetation and biodiversity to a certain extent, now, as a result of ending the conflicts, fundamental measures are being implemented for the re-formation and development of vegetation and biodiversity. Basically, vertical zoning prevails here. Here, in general, semi-desert, steppe, forest and mountain-meadow vegetation zones have replaced each other.
