An analysis of the trends in energy-saving policies and energy strategies in Ukraine shows that the importance of energy-saving technologies in all industries is increasing. In this regard, energy efficient management for crushing and grinding processes with the complex methodological approach to the problem of energy efficiency in general, gives a significant effect. In processing plants and the production of building materials, crushing and grinding operations account for up to 50–70% of total capital costs and the same share of total operating costs. Effective crushing and grinding control is possible with the most complete mathematical model of the situation.
