China is famous for its ancient history extending back over millennia. Various nationalities and ethnic groups of China, living in peace and harmony on this land and being wedded by common interests, have formed their own values, which lied in the desire to consolidate and protect this unity. Currently, China is one of the most powerful countries in the world. Nevertheless, there is a paradox: having reached enormous economic growth and political influence, this great power cannot cope with a seemingly "small" problem: unification with the Republic of China (Taiwan Isl.).
