Statement of the problem in general terms and its connection with important scientific and practical problems. The need for a thorough modernization of Uzbek education became undeniable at the beginning of the 21st century. The processes taking place in the economic, political and social spheres have led to a change in the paradigm of the entire educational system. Since traditional education has become obsolete, innovative didactic methods, means, techniques and forms of organization of education in the modern system of higher education are needed. Since the most important goal of higher education in the conditions of the modern information society is to form not a narrow specialist with the maximum amount of academic knowledge, but a harmoniously developed creative person who perceives the surrounding reality holistically, is able to act mobile in the social and professional spheres, ensuring the comprehensive and sustainable development of mankind, then there was an objective need to take a fresh look at the learning process in general, and at teaching a foreign language in particular.
