Abstract: The article is devoted to identifying the features of the translation of film texts of feature films. The film text, being an example of an audiovisual text, is of particular interest to translators, since it is a system of signs and ways of combining them, the plan of expression of which is represented by the means of cinema. The purpose of this article is to identify and describe the main types of film translation, to reveal their specifics and problems. Special attention is also paid to the communicative and pragmatic aspects of film text translation.
